Michael painting on location in Puerto Rico, fall 2009. On the island of Vieques, south east of Puerto Rico, the artist worked on Zinc plated galvanized metal to create island “voodoo” imagery for “Bananas Bar and Grill" on the south side of the island in Esperanza.

Masks and Mask imagery are popular in the Puerto Rican culture.
